10 Month Report

London is 10 months old today!!  I can't believe how fast this year is going.  We've had a pretty busy month around here.  London has changed so much in the last month I just can't believe it.  As she gets older, she continues to show her personality and she has such an amazing spirit.  We did a photo shoot on vacation and she literally smiled and hammed it up for the camera for 2 hours.  She had such a great time with Ian, Erin, the Clark's, Great Aunt Robin and Donna - oh and Dottie too!  We all had a hard time coming back home after a great trip.

London continues to show me why God is so amazing.  I can't thank God enough for such an amazing gift in our lives.

What's new with London...

Crawling:  She's a pro.  I can't believe how quickly she figured out how to crawl around.

Walking:  Not yet... but any day.  While we were on vacation she mastered the art of pulling herself up and walking around tables and anything else she can hold on to.  She's gotten brave a few times and tried letting go, but she quickly grabs on again.  I'm milking these last few days/weeks until she figures it out.

Teeth:  London apparently grows teeth very very slowly.  She's been "teething" since january/February and only has 2 teeth.  Her 2 bottom middle-front teeth are finally in.  She still has 2-3 more on top that are making their way too.  They haven't quite broke the skin yet.  Not too much progress on those since my last report.  My prediction is a total of 5 teeth by her 1st birthday.

Talking:  In addition to: mama, dada, bye, hi, uh-oh.  She answers the question "What does a duck say" by making her version of a quack impersonation.  It's very cute!  :-)  Still trying to get that on video.  She hams it up for the camera, but the minute you turn on the video camera she clams up.

Gestures:  waves hi, waves bye, claps, shakes head no when you tell her no.  She also imitates several actions we do too.

Favorite game right now:  She still loves peek-a-boo, wrestling with daddy and has also learned to roll a ball across the floor (or table) back and forth

Favorite toy right now:  She loves to play with mommy's phone, the baby handset monitor, Ian's hat, the remote control, her stand up activity table --- but what she really wants to play with now are DVDs, laptops, computer cords, and pretty much anything else she's not supposed to.  LOL

Clothes:  She is wearing all 12 month clothes now.  Most of the pants or shorts in the 12 mo. size are still really big in the waist, but fit in length.  London is in the 25% of her weight and the 75% of her height (50% being "average"), which she's always been.  That pretty much means that most of her shorts fall off her.  Poor kid rocking the saggy pants look.  :)

9 Month Report

What's new with London...

Sitting:  all the time!  She loves to sit up!  In fact, she loves to sit up in her crib in the mornings and play.  It's really weird to see her sitting up in there!

Crawling:  You'll have to watch our video....

Teeth:  2 on the bottom have come through the skin, but aren't all the way in yet. She has 2-3 more on top that are making their way too.  They haven't quite broke the skin yet.

Talking:  mama, dada, bye, hi, uh-oh

Favorite game right now:  She still loves peek-a-boo, but also likes wrestling with daddy

Favorite toy right now:  She loves to play with mommy's phone, the baby handset monitor, Ian's hat, the remote control, her stand up activity table

Clothes:  She is wearing pretty much all 12 month clothes now, but she does have some 9mo clothes she can wear.  Most of the pants or shorts in the 12 mo. size are really big in the waist, but fit in length.  She finally fits in her summer size 2 baby sandals too!
